TREC Genomics Track
This Web site is the archival site for the TREC Genomics Track, which
ran from 2003 to 2007 and was funded by NSF Grant ITR-0325160. The
track test collections can still be obtained by following the the
instructions below. The protocol and data files were updated in late
2008 to reflect the end of the track, but still might have some jargon
and tenses of writing from during the time the track was running.
There is a special
issue of the journal Information
Retrieval devoted to Information
Retrieval in Biomedicine - The
TREC Genomics Track. The overview
paper for this issue gives a good overview of the entire track.
