William Hersh, MD, FACMI, FACP

William (Bill) Hersh is Professor and Chair of the Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Hersh is a leader and innovator in biomedical informatics both in education and research. Bill is a co-PI on this project.
Melissa Haendel, PhD

Melissa Haendel is an Associate Professor in the Library and the Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology at Oregon Health & Science University. Melissa is the director of the Ontology Development Group in the OHSU Library. Melissa is a co-PI on this project.
Shannon K. McWeeney, PhD

Shannon McWeeney is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology at Oregon Health & Science University. Shannon is the Head of the Division of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, and a Faculty member in the Division of Biostatistics, Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Shannon is a co-PI on this project.
Nicole Vasilevsky, PhD

Nicole Vasilevsky is a Senior Research Associate in the Library at Oregon Health and Science University. Nicole's primary role is a biocurator for the Ontology Development Group. Nicole does project management and content development for the BD2K OERs.
Jackie Wirz, PhD

Jackie Wirz is the Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies in the School of Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. Additionally, Jackie directs the Professional Development Center at OHSU. Jackie does content development for the BD2K OERs.
Bjorn Pederson, MA

Bjorn Pederson is an Instructional Designer in the Department of Medical Informatics & Clinical Epidemiology Oregon Health & Science University. Bjorn is the Instructional Designer and Project Manager for the BD2K OERs.
