UK Cancer Experts Meet Tony Blair

In his newly-launched crusade against cancer, British Prime Minister Tony Blair invited the following top cancer experts from around the nation:

Day, Nicholas, Ph.D., professor of epidemiology and director of the Institute of Public Health, University of Cambridge.

Eeles, Rosalind, M.D., head of the cancer genetics clinic at the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Marsden Hospital, London.

Gray, Muir, M.D., programme director, National Screening Committee.

Hardcastle, Jack, M.D., emeritus professor of surgery, University of Nottingham.

Kirby, Roger S., M.D., honorary secretary of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, London.

McVie, J. Gordon, M.D., director-general of the Cancer Research Campaign, London.

Richards, Michel, M.D., Ph.D., clinical director for Cancer Services at the Guy's and St. Thomas NHS Trust, London.

Selby, Peter, M.D., chief medical officer's advisor in oncology, professor of cancer medicine, St. James Hospital, Leeds.

Sikora, Karol, Ph.D., chief of the World Health Organization's Cancer Programme and professor for international cancer medicine at the Hammersmith Hospital, London.
