Antiretroviral drug concentrations in semen of HIV-infected men: differential penetration of indinavir, ritonavir and saquinavir

Stephen Taylor, David J. Back, Susan M. Drake, Judith Workman, Helen Reynolds, Sara E. Gibbons, David J. White and Deenan Pillay

In this article the EC95 for ritonavir was incorrectly stated to be 515 ng/mL. The correct EC95 is 1515 ng/mL.

In the ‘Ritonavir’ subsection of the Results, the final sentence of the first paragraph should have read as follows (altered text is indicated in bold type):

‘All but one patient had detectable SP ritonavir concentrations at all time periods; however, all SP ritonavir concentrations were below the EC95 (1515 ng/mL) throughout the dosing interval.’

In addition, the upper dashed line in Figure 1(b)Go, representing the protein-corrected EC95 for ritonavir, was incorrectly positioned at 515 ng/mL. It should have been positioned at 1515 ng/mL. The corrected Figure 1(b)Go is reproduced below.
