Dear Sir,

We appreciate your interest in our work (Franklin and Kutteh, 2002Go) and your comments. We did not perform bone density scans before or after heparin therapy. We defined thrombocytopoenia as less than 100 000 platelets/cc. We await the publication of a controlled trial comparing unfractionated and low molecular weight heparin for the treatment of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.
