Update
I have been unable to get my own Tableau license in place; their system for giving out educational licenses seems to be on the fritz. So in lieu of teaching you about Tableau, I will instead hold an open office hour session to talk about project stuff, and leave you with some resources:

- Tableau’s “Getting Started” tutorial, which covers core concepts such as Measures and Dimensions
- Tableau’s detailed documentation on data types, which IMO is the most crucial and tricky part of using Tableau
